Kentucky Derby Day or any Day - Mint Julep 

2 oz. of "bourbon

Dash of Simple Syrup 

Mix mint leaves with Simple Syrup, add 1 oz Bourbon, fill with crushed iced, add rest of Bourbon, Garnish with a spring of fresh mint. 

Simple Syrup - Stir one cup of water and two cups of sugar to a boil in a saucepan, lower the heat, continue stirring until sugar is dissolved, cool to room temperature, place in a Glass container and seal.
